A dominance-based culture harms men too - and if you aren't actively challenging that, then you are contributing to it being sustained. There is no "nice" way for me to beg the dominant culture to see and honor my humanity. If it feels uncomfortable, or that it is sometimes imperfectly done, that's the nature of the beast.

Every society has the culture that they tolerate and allow. Period!
