A-fucking-men! The First Amendment prevents the government from censuring your speech (except for all the ways that it can legally do so). There is no American right to say offensive things in general with no consequences. In most states your boss can legally fire you for wearing a political t-shirt he doesn't like. That's what freedom of speech means. This whining is nothing more than those who have long enjoyed the right to say terrible things with no repercussions discovering that it is no longer the case. Once in a while, people over-react or banish someone for something they shouldn't have but overwhelmingly it is assholes discovering they no longer have the right to be that in public without consequences. Good piece!
