A young white man working in the coal mines has no sense of his privilege over someone of color who is a POC going to Princeton, but that doesn't mean he absolutely doesn't have it in many ways (while the Tiger in question might have some others). I'm disappointed that Junger isn't well aware of that and making that more clear.

I do agree that the way we combat this sort of tribalism is to talk to each other and get to know and understand each other better.
