Acknowledging something is a problem doesn’t indicate you have any way to control for it. That’s why the CDC lists HUB as one of the prime indicators of a poorly done study. You keep trying to evade that and pretend it’s not a real issue, but the CDC and medical school textbooks say otherwise.

And how is it relevant that the DTP study was done in Africa? It wasn’t a controlled double blind study, but it was one that didn’t have HUB as a factor. It indicates how the methodology is masking risks — everywhere. The risks might be different here in the US, but we don’t know what all of them are — because they are being masked by the study methodology. Just because they don’t know how to ameliorate that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t keep asking those questions.

For example, we don’t really know why flu deaths keep going up despite an aggressive campaign to get people vaccinated. Some of it is due to the difficulty of predicting the proper strain, but that’s unlikely the whole story.

People like you are exactly what’s standing in the way of us ever finding out — because you are so obsessed with demonstrating that vaccines are perfectly safe and effective that there is no room to encourage learning more about the instances when they are neither. Your dogma and insistence of burning us heretics who just want our questions answered at the stake is marginalizing and invalidating the lives of the people who die or are injured by vaccines. That’s not acceptable to me. We can do better and we should figure out how to do so.
