Actually, according to the neurobiology I cited, it can't. You may not be conscious of it, but emotion is an integral part of all thought. And yes, men are quite often rewarded for showing anger. It reads as strength and masculinity. Honestly, this isn't in dispute - it's basic sociology. Not sure what rock YOU are under.

Who said you were suppressing your emotion about the dog? I didn't say men can't make logical decisions, simply that it's a myth that they are more logical and assuming that repressing emotions = logical thinking is a fallacy.
