Agreed - so why are you mourning the loss of artificial norms that shoe-horn both men and women into artificial boxes invented by others long dead? Be a person - be a human being - be whatever manifestation of your gender that feels good to you. That's not unigender, it's the ultimate in individualism. Nobody is "reducing" anything and if you're losing identity maybe it's because you shouldn't be looking to others (or artificial privilege) for your identity.
In case you haven't heard, Western norms of "masculinity" are fucking killing and harming men - as well as everyone else. Mourning their loss is supremely tone-deaf to reality. Go be a person and stop worrying that your "role" is ancillary.
The people who are lying to you are those who wish to maintain artificial binary gender norms. Go be a person — go let other people be persons. Stop letting others tell you who you ought to be and who women ought to be.
