All politics is identity politics - it just seems normative when it's white guys demanding the same privileges they've had for hundreds of years and offensive and out of line when it's marginalized people advocating for their interests. We have an entire industry centered around identity politics that is primarily populated with white men. It's called lobbying - where people advocate for their interests based on their shared goals with others from their same demographic.

This is yet another one of those fake aggrievements by white men (and penguins) who don't like the fact that other people also want to be heard around the things that are relevant to their wellbeing and happiness. Give it up - it's tired!
