Although you are correct that it's mostly women who open up marriages, you are way off base on the rest. There's a huge difference between having 12 men who would readily sleep with you and finding even one man that you'd actually want to do that with. And, in my real-life experience with swinging and consensual non-monogamy, average men have just as much chance with women as anyone else, provided they aren't complete jerks.
