An interesting piece. I read about one study where men and women were both shown erotic images while they had sensors attached to their genitals . Hetero men respond to heterosexual porn, and some lesbian stuff, homosexual men preferred homosexual porn, and women were aroused by anything and everything, including bonobos getting it on. I think there's just generally an awful lot of disinformation and old assumptions about female sexuality still floating around out there.

And I completely agree that men have been socialized by patriarchy to believe that women are on earth for their pleasure and enjoyment. It's mostly not a conscious belief, but even many so called progressive men have a hard time understanding that a woman might want to dress for herself, and not for male attention.
