Don't be so naive and defensive. You participate in upholding the current culture of masculinity by your actions as well as your inactions, your words, as well as your silence. "I don't do those things" is insufficient if you turn a blind eye to all the ways that other men do them. That's what allows the madness to go unchecked. Start participating in changing the culture or you are just as culpable as every other man. If you aren't a part of the solution, you are a part of the problem.
