And even though I do write about this topic a lot, for the most part, that's what I've done is just retreated into my own little bubble, because I think that's the only way to survive this. And, I used to be quite sad that I'd never be a grandmother because my autistic son is nonverbal and we are his legal guardians. Now, I'm actually fine with the fact that after him, I'm not leaving any descendents to try to survive in this brutally fucked up world.
