And.... making a sweeping generalization that all feminists are not sympathetic to that is absurd. If you've talked about that to a couple of women who for some reason weren't sympathetic, it's A) Not a stand in for all feminists and B) Probably due to the way that you presented that information that was either hijacking their story, or otherwise inappropriate to the situation.
