This was a great piece and I completely agree with you. Fighting patriarchy with more patriarchy isn't the answer. I think the only thing that will ever change this dynamic is shifting the social system to one that is more empathetic and cooperative. Unfortunately, that's not happening any time soon but we can still keep talking about it and dreaming it into existence.
