And the reason that Blacks are killed by the police at 2.5 times the rate of whites is due to patriarchal dominance hierarchy dynamics — the exact same reason that women are subject to types of violence related to control at astronomical levels related to men. You keep refusing to interface with that part — that the types of violence that women are overwhelmingly experiencing are related to patriarchal norms, which is not the same for men at the same levels. In the face of that, it doesn’t matter that there are nearly equal numbers of men and women; it doesn’t matter that in gross numbers, more men experience violence — because they don’t experience the same sorts of violence. Which is why there is a UN commission around violence against women and why health organizations such as the WHO and the CDC have taken the position that violence against women is at epidemic levels.

You stomping your feet because “it’s not fair” and refusing to wrap your head around this isn’t going to improve anything. Stop attacking women for focusing on the issues that primarily affect them and put your energy into something positive that actual makes a difference for the men you claim to be so concerned about.

Her humanity may hence be held to be owed to other human beings, and her value contingent on her giving moral goods to them: life, love, pleasure, nurture, sustenance, and comfort, being some such. This helps to explain why she is often understood perfectly well to have a mind of her own, yet punished in brutal and inhumane ways when that mind appears to be oriented to the wrong things, in the wrong ways, to the wrong people — including herself and other women.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
