And if they won't pay attention to feedback from within their own demographic, they aren't likely to have much of a platform for very long and there is little point in arguing with them since they hold a view that is not widely espoused.
Not all "crusaders" are going to be immaculate. Look at all of the personal issues that Dr. King had. He was a complex human being who had both faults and assets. On balance, he leaned toward the side of improving our society. Time and history will sort out the rest in a similar way and they will be seen for who they are and what they truly bring. It's not actually necessary for them all to be" brought to account" by people on the internet.
