And those stigmas come out of patriarchal norms that most men are desperate to uphold. They are literally propping up their own misery and attacking anyone and everyone who wants a better system. Yes, women uphold those norms in some cases but they primarily are a function of mainstream masculinity as defined by men being policed into continuing by boys and men. Until you guys get your shit together and stop doing that, nothing is going to improve for anyone.
