And yet, as much as Americans are supposedly against infidelity, a huge number of them are cheating on their partners (usually without condoms, I might add) -by some accountings up to 40% of Americans. They are attached to Puritanical constructs on the surface, and then disregard them as it suits their whims behind the scenes. I wouldn't exactly call that knowing the difference between right and wrong.
