As an Amazonian woman, (I’m nearly 6'1") I have long hated clothes shopping. Pants that weren’t quite long enough, midlines that didn’t hit remotely near my waist, skirts that were supposed to be flirty but were so short on me as to be absurd…..

It’s gotten much better in recent years, and I have my go-to stores or brands, but that just means that when I see something that fits, and I can afford it, I buy it whether I really need it or not. It’s years of clothing insecurity that I still haven’t entirely dealt with. Some stores I won’t go anywhere near, because even though they ostensibly carry my size, nothing from there has ever fit me right ever, e.g, Ann Taylor, White House Black Market. I like to wear attractive clothing, but I think the fashion industry is largely delusional and insane.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
