As usual you don’t know what you’re talking about. Well into the 1970s there were hundreds of laws that curtailed women’s lives in ways that did not apply to men. Most of the changes in that, as well as things like shelters for abused women, are the direct result of feminist activism. Marital rape wasn’t illegal in all 50 states until 1993 and there are still loopholes in some states but any progress on that front was due to feminist advocacy. Women couldn’t go to Ivy League schools well into the 70s. Columbia didn’t come around for undergraduates until 1983. Guess who put pressure on to change that? Guess who made sure grown adult women could get credit cards and home loans in their own name- in the 1970s? Try learning about history before you opine on it.
