"It cited McKinsey research that shows companies in the top quartile for gender diversity on executive teams were 25% more likely to have above-average profitability than companies in the bottom, while companies with more than 30% female executives were more likely to outperform companies that don’t, according to research from academics from the Universities of Glasgow and Leicester."

Also, female surgeons are still openly sexually harassed and treated with antagonism by male colleagues in many places, including Australia and throughout the UK. Probably happens in the US too, I'm guessing.

It's just absurd that women clearly improve both the medical profession as well as the business world, and yet are still too often looked down on or treated as less competent. I can't help wondering when or even if that will ever shift.
