As with polyamorous relationships, I think many, many people have decided that homosexual relationships are primarily about sex. This belies the richness that is quite possible, and perhaps that’s intentional on their part, even if it is unconscious. It keeps those relationships othered.

I really loved this story. It’s very sweet and there’s so much in it about what real partnering is.
