As you are aware, I write about racism and inequality all of the time, and I am willing to concede that there are things in my subconscious that are not in line with who I want to be. My opinion is that this holds true for us all, despite what we most often do and say because that’s what neuroscience tells us. And that being said, there are definitely degrees of this, and whether or not it’s literally true can certainly be debated. But given the fact that we are only 2% conscious and the rest is cultural narratives, etc., I’m going to stick with my position. And, of course, you are welcome to disagree.
