Asexuality is a well documented aspect of the sexual spectrum. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with someone who doesn't feel that drive, but it also doesn't negate that for the species as a whole, the need for sex is just as important as the need for clothing or shelter. Generalizations aren't meant to cover every single person in any given category. They are intended to speak to a trend.
