Based on what exactly? The lies men tell each other? Because that's not remotely true. This idea that "average" women are somehow dating "top tier" men is ludicrous. Pretty much everyone dates the people "in their league" for lack of a better term. I think the disconnect occurs when men who really don't have much to offer because they've made little effort imagine that they are actually "average" men. That's the real problem.
