Bland? That's kind of an odd way to describe treating others with respect and kindness, teaching children how to communicate and advocate for their needs and wants and develop agency in a way that doesn't trample others - fostering interdepence and cooperation. It's simple, but not necessarily easy. Bland is not the word I would choose. . .
