What makes you think that men are attracted to more women than vice versa? That's just nutty... Men and women have statistically the same number of sex partners. Men and women have essentially the same number of affairs. In a 2017 study of the sex lives of people in their 20s and early 30s, women were much more likely to have gone to a swinger's club, or tried BDSM, or been in a threesome.

Women have to be more careful than men to not end up trafficked or dead when they engage in sex with someone they don't know, but the notion that women are naturally more choosey or sexual reticent is a myth that has been dispelled for decades. All other primate females are randy as can be. Absent a culture where until quite recently women could not support themselves and had to rely on one man to do it - and a culture where women are still to this day shamed for being sexual, I don't see why humans would be any different.
