But is this guy an outlier? Aren't there plenty of churches that preach that a woman should submit to her husband (whether she feels like it at the moment or not). Rape doesn't always mean violence, it also means this kind of coercion and the belief that a woman's body does not belong exclusively to her. This guy was more explicit about it, but it's not exactly a fringe belief among evangelicals.
