But only in this culture and others like it. I've spent enough time in topless optional and clothing optional spaces to know that even within our culture, it's not universal - only out in "mainstream" culture where it's tolerated. In addition, this absurd notion that "men can't help themselves because of testosterone" is just laughable. In cultures where women routinely go topless, including many European cultures where it's common at the beach, etc., men do not lose their minds and turn into raging animals. That's not how testosterone works, for one thing, and for another, a lot of Islamic cultures where women are required to dress very modestly (sometimes head to toe) there is still a high incidence of rape. Conversely, in matrilineal cultures that truly respect women, there is almost none. It's all about learned attitudes.
And if you as a man don't know how to say good morning to a woman in a civil, neutral manner, that's not the woman's fault, it's yours.
