But why does it feel like an attack when there is mounds of evidence that it's hurting men to be forced to act this way and to police others into it? This is a serious and honest question. As Katie said, "You'd think it shouldn't even have to be explained why convincing men there's just one acceptable way to be a man and pitting them against one another is damaging."
"This stuff is literally killing you guys, driving violence of all sorts in our culture, and making you lonely and miserable." and then the response to that is "Stop attacking me." It makes no sense whatsoever. Why would any sane person double down on this level of demonstrable self harm? I just don't get it...
