Charles Carroll, thanks for your comment and I agree completely. When you take the dominance hierarchy element out of the relationship (even if it’s subtle and subconscious) and just figure out together how to get everything done because you truly treat each other as partners, it is transformative. Words like “mine” and “your job” become outdated.

Now if we could do conscious cooperation throughout our society, it would be revolutionary, but I’m willing to start with people having more intentional and cooperative relationships, even if they choose to stay monogamous.
