Yeah, I don't condone that, just like I don't mininize the harmful effects of lying and disprespect. Call it whatever you want. I sleep with and love all sorts of people who aren't my husband, but I do it openly, honestly, and with respect for both him and them. That's the kind of world that I want to live in - one where people act like responsible adults. If you don't, that's your business, but I also think it's a bit sad.

Also, the French are notorious misogynists, so that's not exactly a ringing endorsement. Notice that the quote says "a man can have affairs." A world that turns a winking eye to men behaving dishonestly but harshly judges women who do the same is also not one that I want to support and uphold.
