Could you be more condescending?? Moana is a story about feminine power and the ways that it prevailed when "masculine" power could not have possibly won.

And no, Maui is not every man. He's not my husband, or my other male partner. He is not many, many men that I know and love. He is not who men were before the advent of patriarchy 6-9k years ago.

It's fine for you to have a different perspective than I do, based in your own personal experiences, but when you start lecturing me about things that I have studied in depth for decades, that's where I draw the line, particularly when it has to do with women's psyches. Please stop with that shit. It's not only condescending but it's reductive. All women are not your ex-wives.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
