Does he want to encourage girls to marry just anybody so they can tick that box by a certain age? Is that what we want our daughters to do? 🙄 Shouldn’t they marry the right person, for love, when that arises?

Until last year, Swift spent the last 6 years with the same man and then mentioned in a song after they had broken up, "And I'm pissed off you let me give you all that youth for free." Maybe she wanted very much to marry him and he didn't want to. Is that her fault? We have no idea, and it’s not our business.

It's absurd that anybody at all in this day and age is spewing this sort of rhetoric, and that any mainstream magazine would publish it. There are still plenty of men out there who don't view women as people, but it's still a bit shocking when it's shoved in our faces.
