Everything in patriarchy is seen as win/lose game. It's a completely zero-sum dynamic. Nonetheless, it's still tiresome that more American men have to be so rude and condescending in the way that they go about it. In general, in my experience, European men seem to do better with it, and I have few problems with women challenging me when the essay is filled with citations and quotes from experts. They might ask a question but it's generally coming from a place of clarifying rather than making it clear to me that I have no business considering myself to be an authority figure (which is where a lot of American men seem to come from). These guys are rarely interested in "the truth" so I don't know if saying that to them would make a dent.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
