Evolutionary biology types frequently tout this "possibility" as proof that men are naturally randy and promiscuous and women are naturally choosy and reticent - something that I already made quite clear in the OP. In the very first sentence, I said this was a weird myth. If you missed that, it's because you let your indignant (at what?) emotions get in the way. Yes, both males and females are at times promiscuous and at other times choosy, because what actual study of mating (not this silly EB stuff) indicates is that there is no one single mating strategy for most animals, and certainly not for humans.

And, at the same time, we know that men did not evolve to be able to impregnate huge numbers of women (like 100 in a year even) because although it might be physically possible, you have to actually take women into account in this scenario, and when you do that, what we get is a higher likelihood of being hit by a meteorite. So, because it doesn't speak to real world conditions, it doesn't inform broad evolutionary traits (as EB types assert). Try to keep up here... I already stipulated to the fact that a sultan with a large harem might be able to pull this off. Did you actually read this piece AT ALL or did you just skip ahead to the part where you could be weirdly indignant about nothing substantive? Honestly, the level of childishness is just astounding...

Here, I have another story for you.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
