Exactly! Telling someone else what they are allowed to do, wear, and who they can associate with is not "boundaries" it's control born out of insecurity. People who think that's an acceptable way to behave need to get a grip - it's literally part of a medical definition of abuse.
Medical News Today says: "Coercive control is a form of domestic abuse, or intimate partner violence. It describes a pattern of behaviors a perpetrator uses to gain control and power by eroding a person’s autonomy and self-esteem. This can include acts of intimidation, threats, and humiliation."
I know it's frustrating to constantly be told what and how you should write, but you can only be yourself and do what feels right to you. Don't worry about those people. Just be you!
