Exactly! This idea that women don't long for more than domesticity (even if they love it at times and love their families) or that way more than men, their wildness is often subsumed by domestic life, is just a joke.

It would be almost comical if it weren't so damaging for men to have spent thousands of years preventing women from participating in "the building of civilization" and then to congratulate themselves that they alone built it (which isn't actually the case, despite the intentional barring of women).
