When you knew me, I had long hair
And didn’t smoke at all
History repeats itself in interesting ways

Tell me that you love the long curves of my body
As you carry me off to bed again
And caress each part as if it were yesterday

So many remember when Cinnamon Girl played
We never danced
But we drank like fish and rocked the sea

When you left me, I cut my hair
And didn’t smoke
Just ashes

Excaliber arises out of a Pennsylvania lake
And I never thought I’d see
That sword of flame again.
