Except that this is affirmatively not taking place, and you stating that we ought to is not going to change that. 20% of children are hungry today. The same legislators who are banning abortion are with the other hand making things even harder on poor women and children - because just like you they don't actually care about the welfare of babies, they care about punishing women for having sex. And banning abortion doesn't actually significantly lower the number of abortions, it only affects the number of safe and legal ones. Abortion has existed since ancient times and it will always exist. You may find that repugnant, but it is the reality. In addition, the Bible says that a fetus is not a life until its taken it's first breath. Gen 2:7 In Exodus 21:22 the punishment for causing a miscarriage is a fine, while the punishment for causing a death is death. That's because a fetus is only a potential life.

One thing that you are correct about is that almost no women die during abortions. However, hundreds of women die each year during, and after pregnancy. The maternal mortality rate in the US is the highest in the world. And yes, a lot of that is preventable, but the fact of the matter is, it is a significant risk. Forcing someone to risk their life against their will is barbaric and no other place in American law forces someone to risk their life for the life of another.

It's clear from your last sentence that you hate and fear women, so yes, I did learn something today. That there's no sense talking to a person like that.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
