First of all, if you’ve actually read anything of mine before you’d know that I write about patriarchy all the time — not as a men oppressing women scheme, but as a dominance-based hierarchy that harms nearly everyone except for a few fat cats at the top who are mostly white rich men. I’ve written quite a bit in fact about how to challenge that, and how hierarchies of actualization (partnership-oriented management) is becoming more prevalent in the business world because it’s much more agile.
I’ve already spoken to how “well-meaning” men cross the line. They do it because they subconsciously feel entitled to women’s bodies due to their socialization and don’t have good skills around taking no for an answer, based on both body language and actual statements that indicate non-consent — in part because they’ve been taught to treat women as prey and to prioritize their own desires.
I’ve already provided you with data, studies, and anecdotal information such as the stories of the women who said No to men who were then killed for it that address your counter-factual assertion that there is some significant body of men who accidentally rape people.
I challenge bullshit wherever I encounter it, although I haven’t read that particular story that you mentioned because I don’t necessarily go looking for that kind of thing since there is too much of it. I’d spend every waking second and I have better things to do. You came and made a comment on my story and I responded to it. You said uneducated and frankly offensive things and now want to try to parry me pointing that out by somehow making it my responsibility for not addressing absolutely everything that is wrong with the world.
Nice try — go write your own story on the topics that interest you.
