Hate is a strong word, and so perhaps it's not the exact correct one, but teaching daughters that they are less than boys, that they are vessels of sex so don't tempt boys and men - save that for your husband (to whom it is due) - all those sorts of things are undermining a girl's worth and to teach your child that they are less, and that they are property is pretty hateful in my book.
