Having a preference engendered by your culture (patriarchy) is not the same thing as it being an evolutionary impulse. If teen mothers often die from pregnancy complications (they do- as already cited) and they are not yet as fertile as they might be in a few years, it is maladaptive to impregnate teen-agers from an evolutionary perspective.
