If not, then perhaps it's time to concede that mostly what you've got is a story about cancel culture that doesn't actually hold up to scrutiny or have much basis in facts. In which case, perhaps it's time to amend that story, despite the fact that it gets you friends and reads, in favor of one that is more rational. 🙃
