Hi Mark, I realize it's only been 3 days, but still, I had hoped to hear something from GMP by now, even if only to say that they would get back to me soon. In the interim, I heard from another woman who says she has complained 4 times about things that she felt were mysogynistic in GMP stories and never heard a thing about those either. I don't know which stories she is referring to, but a pattern of disregarding the concerns of women doesn't bode well.

From my perspective, either explain why you (not you, Mark, but impersonal you) feel justified in what you have said or take responsibility for it and amend it/apologize. I don't see why that is so difficult. I have personally read things you have written where you did just that - took responsibility for a blind spot and committed to doing better. I have huge respect for that, and I guess that is, in part, why I expected more from others affiliated with GMP.

I understand that you may have limited ability to affect this situation, but you still have more than I do. For reference, here is a link to the story that I recently read and commented upon, with no reply there either. I noticed that another commenter did get a reply, so it does not seem to be a function of not replying to any comments.
