I’m well aware of the Man Box and have written about it often. I’m not sure what your question/comment is about women being sexually assertive/agressive. It’s becoming more prevalent, but is still largely frowned upon and considered unfeminine or too aggressive. A large component of patriarchy is that men and women adhere to gender rules, so this would rattle that dynamic pretty good — and it does. Since both men and women uphold patriarchy, some of the policers of this are in fact, other women.
