Hmm, I'm not sure how a simple statement of fact that I wished to write more about the slavery aspect of something as complex and multifaceted as the patriarchal dominance hierarchy but didn't feel I could because the story was already running long could be construed as cavalier or offensive.

Lakitha is Black, and she didn't have any issues with it. And I know this is the case because she has told me in the past when she did have an issue with something I'd said, so I trust she would have done it again if it were warranted.
