Honestly, I can't for the life of me understand how this ever got to be a thing. And it's so pervasive, no matter how many women talk about how offensive it is. I think that this is in fact, the point. It's a way of hijacking a woman's space and making her uncomfortable for the purposed of exerting dominance, which is seriously uncool. Many states have started to criminalize it and I love when I occasionally read about someone who tracked down the guy's mother and forwarded the image on to her, but seriously, it's not enough as of right now, and it really is no different than a guy in the park wearing nothing but a raincoat.
