"How can you provide and protect someone when you don't know what they need? When you won't even consider how they must move through the world? How can you shelter them, when you don't even see they need shelter? "
This is such an important part. But it speaks to interacting with a woman as a partner rather than the man being "the leader" and "the patriarch" and thinking you have the right to tell them what they need. It's a lot more vulnerable position - but also a lot more empowered and fulfilling one.
