How do you reconcile all of the very specific statistics that I linked you from a wide variety of sources then? You have not disproven their veracity in any way. 40 million people who don’t eat regularly or enough, a high percentage of whom are children and the elderly, is a dystopian hell!
I’m glad that this offends you — it should. If you love this country, you should be horrified that such a situation exists, and not turn a blind eye to it. Veterans are another group where this problem is a terrible issue.

Mr. B., as Synek refers to the vet, told him he couldn’t afford it and for that matter, he and his wife could only afford to eat two weeks out of every month because their money didn’t last.
The idea of the elderly vet going hungry was too much for Synek. He and his wife, Michele, went out that night and purchased a box of food to take
to Mr. B.
