How is citing statistics that indicate that men are responsible for most violence, crime and rape making then unfairly out to be monsters? The truth is, men aren't the problem - the way masculinity is constructed in most Western (and a lot of Eastern) cultures is demonstrably harmful to men - and to every one else. And the author hasn't said differently, but when most men refuse to confront their socialization and mostly turn a blind eye to the horrendous experience of women, they are absolutely culpable for this society and should be called out on it. Don't be a victim blamer - it's ugly.

I'm a bitch, I'm a lover, I'm a child, I'm a mother, I'm a sinner, I'm a saint. I do not feel ashamed. I'm your hell, I'm your dream, I'm nothing in between.
